Interface Questions

Q: Can I minimize the program?
A: Version 1.0.4 and above of the software supports capacity to change whether the program runs in Fullscreen Mode. To modify this go to Preferences and toggle Fullscreen on/off.

Q: How do I import images into the program?
A: When the program initially runs you will be at the Workspace. To import images into the program go to the Lightbox (buttons at top right) and click "import images" there. This will import the images into the program.

Q: Can I take more that 1 image at a time to a Group in the Lightbox?
A: You can shift select or control select images in the light box and drag them to a group. When you click on a group in a lightbox it will only give you images in that group. When you are in the workspace and adding images you will have a pop-down of your groups.

Q: What types of images will the program import?
A: The program can import .jpeg .jpg .tiff .tif .psd files, but the files need to be named with the . extension else the program will not recognise them. Theoretically it will import any image types as long as they are named appropriately. Example: myimage.jpg, myimage.jpeg, myimage.tiff, myimage.tif, myimage.psd

If you are running PS CS and have the appropiate raw file plug-in, YSI will also import Camera Raw Files. The Raw file conversion will only engage when you export a finished layout direclty into PhotoShop or Batch process all files as PSD's. Each image within a aperture will be prompt for conversion as the layout is built.

Q: Is there a way to delete all the images from the lightbox at one time?
A: If you press the "A" key in the light box all images in the view will be selected and you can then press the delete button. If you are using the groups feature within the lightbox and you have added images to various groups, deleting an image from the All Images group will remove it entirely from the program and thus from any groups it may have been linked to.

Q: What are groups for in the light box?
A: Use groups to sort your images into categories like bride, groom, etc this way you will not have to scroll through lots of images when you are creating templates in the workspace. When you are in the workspace and adding images you will have a pop-down of your groups.

Q: Will the program run on monitors less than 1024x768?
A: Version 1.0.4 of the software supports rudimentary scaling of the interface to whatever size your monitor is set to. The graphics and interface elements may become hard to read at smaller sizes.

    Q: Copying and Re-Sizing a Finished Layout
A: Once you have finished your layout, open the Finished Layouts screen and select the layout. Add this template into the Batch Output Box and select Run Batch. A pop-up screen will appear showing the current layout name, output size and the High Rez. file type. Change the name and the Width of the template to any proportional size you require. Run Batch to output the finished layout as a High Rez. file.

Q: The Colors selected by the Eye Dropper are not accurate
A: If the Eye Dropper is used to select a color from an image and does not match, re-sample the color once more. This sometimes occurs if the sample is not selected within the correct color range. However, if you are trying to match to an un-corrected image, the sample color will be different after corrections are applied within PhotoShop. We advise to only use a sample color from an image after it has been corrected or re-edited within PhotoShop.

Q: I would like to add Specail Effects to my images, can this be done within YSI?
A: Currently within YSI's Image Editior you can change any color image into a Black & White and reduced it's Opacity. Special effects such as Drop Shadows, Toning, Softness etc. will be added in future releases. In the meantime, you can export your finished layout directly into PhotoShop and add any effect you may require.

Q: I've just opened a current job and all my Finished Layouts have disappeared!
A: Depending on the amount of Finished layouts you have created within each job, your graphics card may be having problems processing the information. Close YSI and all other programs you may be running and re-open YSI. If the problem continues, re-boot your computer and open YSI once again, as this will usually refresh the card. If this problem continues, we recommend that you check your hard drive with any Virus dectection software. If you have a hidden virus or worm on your drive, this may effect your computer's performance and possibly change YSI's directory to a read-only. Please contact our support team at support@youselectit.com if this problem continues.

    Q: What is Design Room?
A: The software is registered under the name of You Select It. The template section of the program is called Design Room. We will be introducing more rooms within YSI that include, Edit Room, Showroom, Production Room... plus much more. The features of these rooms will be announced prior to each release.

Q: Adding different types of Backgrounds to a template
A: Once you have added an addtional background layer to the template, import any type of image or background effect into the LightBox. Select the template and insert this backgorund image into the appropiate layer. Double click over this area if you wish to take the image into the the Image Editor Interface.

Q: My Double page templates are the wrong size and look Vertical
A: The default size of all the templates has been previously changed within the Preferences Window. However, if you prefer to retain the new default size, you can change the size of each template when the pop-up screen appears after a new template has been selected.

Q: How much trimming allowance should I allow for each Finished Template?.
A: This will vary depending on each album manufactures requirements. Normally, it's best to increase the overall size of each template by 1/4" or 5mm. This will allow the album manufacture plenty of trimming room to ensure an accurate finish. By increasing the size of the template will not affect the design if it is re-sized proportionally. Please contact your album manufacture to confirm their trimming allowance.

    Q: How can I Flip a template?
A: This feature is not currently available within YSI. However, you can export the any template into the Edit Window and move all the elements to suit your requirements.

Q: What is a Flush Mount Template?
A: This template is used for either single or double page Panoramics. Depending on the type of album you are using, you can re-size this template to either fit within a framed opening or flush mounted to cover the entire page. Adding to this, you can design a doule page layout that includes a single panoramic print on one side and a template design on the facing page. This will offer you an unlimited choice of different designs options that will suit most clients requirements.
As an addtional feature, you can re-size the Flush mount template to produce individual prints for client re-print and enlargement orders.

Q: How can I re-name a Template and Sort my Finished Layouts?
A: This proceed can be done in either the Workspace or Finished Layout Windows. Select the Finished Layout you wish to re-name and press the Duplicate button. Enter another name and save. Delete the orginal layout if you wish to replace it with the copy.
To help you sort out your layouts, print a thumbnail copy of all the finished templates. Work the order you wish to placed them in the album and then go back to the Finished Layouts page and individually duplicate each layer and re-name them. Once finished, just delete the original layout. As a suggestion, ensure to name your layouts as Side 001, Side 002... Side 010, as this will keep the files in numerical order.

Q: How can I re-arrange or re-name the order of my Finished Templates?
A: Duplictae the finished layout and re-name it suit your required order, then delete the orignal layout. If you wish to re-arrange all your finished templates, we suggest that you print a thumbnail proof sheet first to work out your new page order and the apply the technique as described above.

Q: I have just purchased an addtional Platform License for my Mac ( or PC ), do I need to purchase the extra Template Modules once again?
A: No, your platform license also includes any extra template modules you have recently purchased. When you buy additional Template Modules, you are welcome to load them on both operating systems.

Q: How can I email my Finished Layouts to a customer?
A: Choose the Batch All output option within the Finished Layouts window and change the output requirements for each layout to either BMP or Jpeg File @ 72 dpi. The batch function will convert your layouts and save them to the hard drive. Locate this folder and send the files to your clients as an attachment. Alternatively, you can also import these files into a viewing program such as Kais Power Show and forward the show package to them.
Another option is to print either a Thumbnail or Full size proof sheet and post this copy to your clients.

If the problem persists please contact support@youselectit.com

Q: Got the following error when trying to Import Images or Build a Photoshop file, "Could not run the script YSI Process because of a scripting system (OSA) error. -1757"?
A: If you have PhotoShop loaded on two seperate drives or have partitioned your C drive and PhotoShop is also loaded on these seperate sections, ensure that the Adobe scripting file is also loaded on both drives or sections. To do this, you can either load YSI on the additional drive or copy the Scripting file directly into the Adobe Plug-ins folder. Reboot your computer once you have completed this installation.

Q: I would like to run the program on another computer, can I do this?
A: Yes you can run the program on other computers that you personally own. As long as they are PC to PC or Mac to Mac. You will require permission and instructions from our office to do this, please forward your request to support@youselectit.com with your current Un-Lock Code and registration details.

Q: Do I need to be connected to the internet when registering the program?
A: Yes when first registering the program you will require an internet connection. Once the software is registered you can copy it to other computers without re-registering or requiring an internet connection.

    Q: Does YSI support Photoshop 7, CS, CS2, CS3 & CS4?
A: Yes, YSI is compatible with Photoshop 7+ , CS, CS2, CS3 & CS4. Please note that Photoshop CS, CS2, CS3 & CS4 now include scripting support and there is no need to re-install this file.

Q: How to transfer a job to another computer
A: To transfer a job from to another computer, you will need to follow these steps:

1: Go to Explore / Program Files / You Select It Folder
2: Locate your and copy the entire folder onto a memory stick
3: Go to your PC / Explore / Program Files / open You Select It
4: Transfer the Job file from your memory stick to the Archive folder
5: Open YSI and select Restore Job.

Once you have restored the job into the application, you will need to re-import your original images files back into the LightBox. Please do not import the images files form a CD or memory stick.

Q: How can I test to see if Scripting Support is working?
A: As a test of the environment launch YSI, once launched press the control and T keys together (control + T), and in this sequence. This should launch a simple test script that will launch Photoshop and try to make a new document. If a new document is made in Photoshop then Scripting Support is working properly.

Q: My Computer is running slow
A: Increase your Ram within PhotoShop to 80%. Also, ensure that you have about the same amount allocated to the Scratch Disk. If you are running Mac OS-9, ensure to also increase YSI memory usage. If the problem still continues, close all other programs while using YSI and empty your recyling bin and delete any temporary files. Most computers will lose their processing speed if the hard drive is full or requires defragmentation. Some hidden viruses or worms could also effect your computer's performance. You may also experience inconsistencies within the program if there are infected files on your drive and have changed YSI directory to a read-only file. We recommend that you check your drive using any virus detection software to source and delete these infected files.

Q: PhotoShop stops during the Batch process
A: Depending on your Hard Drive space and processing speed, PhotoShop may stop the Batch Output process. Check your hard drive space and the amount of Ram you have alloacted to PhotoShop. Also, ensure that your Scratch disk has plenty of space allocated to it. Depending on the amount of layouts and the size of your pages, the computer's processor may find it diffuclt to keep up the workload. If you have a large number of pages or they are all Double page spreads, we recommend that you only Batch 5 to 10 finished layouts at the one time. During the batch process YSI will auotmatically close and re-start PhotoShop after 5 layouts and continue the output until all the files have been completed. A PhotoShop error may appear notifying you that the file is too big to export to the clipboard. Just ignore this and continue with the batch process. However, if none of the above is related to your computer and you have sufficent Ram and Memory, then there could be a hidden virus or worm that may be effecting program's performance. We recommend that you scan your hard drive with any Virus detection software to sourch and delete these infected files. In some cases, they are known to change YSI's directory to read-only. Please contact our support team at support@youselectit.com if this problem continues or your directory has been changed.

Q: Am I allowed to load YSI onto my Laptop or other workstations?
A: Yes, we are quite happy to allow you to load YSI onto any computer you personally own ( i.e. PC to PC or Mac to Mac ). However, if you wish to load the program onto another operating system, you will require to purchase another paltform license. See Additional Platform Licences for more information.

Q: How do I re-install YSI from the web site?
A: All your registration details and program Un-Lock codes are avaiable within the Client Login Page. To obtain these, just log onto our web site www.youselectit.com and open the Client Login Page. Enter your Web Site Username and Password and the site will take you into the Software Summary Page. Within this section you can select to re-download any YSI product you have purcahsed, obtain your Un-Lock code and change your registration / passwords details.

Q: I no longer use a PC ( or Mac ) and wish to re-install YSI onto my Mac ( or PC )
A: YSI will operate on either a PC or Mac. However, they are different file types and will require seperate installations. Once YSI is installed on either platform, it cannot be transferred onto another operating system and we do not offer refunds on current installations..
However, as a current user, you can purchase an Additional Platform License at 50% off the current price which also any additional templates you may have previously purchased at no extra charge. To obtain the additional license, please go to the Client Login Page within our web site.

Q: What DPI should I choose to obtain the best printing results?
A: We advise that you contact your lab to confirm their output preferences or refer to your ink-jet manual.
    Our reommendations are:
    Kodak Pegasus = 250 DPI
    Lambda = 200 to 400 DPI
    Ink-Jet = 300 DPI

Q: How do I use a fresh install of Photoshop CS4 with YSI?
    A:  Adobe Photoshop CS4 Fix

Click here if you are running Windows
Click here if you are running Mac

Q: What is YSI compatiable with? Does it work with Mac and PC?
A: YSI is now compatiable with both PhotoShop 7+ , Cs, CS2 & CS3. The program is available for either PC or MAC and will operate with the following operating systems:
    PC = Windows 98, 2000, XP ( Pro ) & Vista
    Mac = OS9 & OSX

Q: I've just exported my Finished Layout into PhotoShop and it stop building the file after a couple of layers.
A: Check your Hard Drive Space, Ram allocation and scratch disk space. These issues are usually related to poor PhotoShop performance and procesing times on large templates. Also, your Adobe Scripting File link may be broken. To restore the link, delete the Scripting File ( PC: go to Add / Remove Folder within My Computer - Mac: go to Applications Folder / Adobe ), re-install the current version of YSI and re-boot your computer. For further information, please refer to Scripting File Links on this FAQ page.

Q: Do I need to increase more memory to YSI if I'm running OS-9 on my Mac?
A: If you are running OS-9, you will need to increase the program's memory usage within the Applications Folder. Open this folder and select the YSI Folder. Press Apple +I together to open the program information folder. In the drop down menu, select memory and type in the required Ram that is sufficent to run both YSI and PhotoShop.

Q: How do I move my images or delete the Mask after the Finished Layout is exported into PhotoShop?
A: Once all the Lyers have been built in PhotoShop, open the Layers Palette and highlight the layer you wish to Edit. To move both the image and mask, press between the two elements within the layer and a link will appear. This will now allow you to move the image anywhere within the canvas area and retain the Mask opening. To transform the image, drag the mask into the layer trash and apply the mask when requested by PhotoShop. This action will remove the mask properties from the layer and allow you to transform or edit the image as you like.

Q: When I save or batch my Finished Layouts as high Rez. files, the process stops and YSI says that it cannot find my orignal files.
A: When you first imported your high rez. images into the program, YSI copied and re-sized each image as a low rez. file. You may have removed your original files off your hard drive or move them to another location. YSI will always refer back to the same location that it orignally copied the files from. This will also apply if you imported the images off a CD.

Q: When I want to import images into YSI, PhotoShop will not open or closes after importing after 3 to 4 images.
A: If PhotoShop is already operating prior to opening YSI, it will not reconize the link between both programs. It is best to close PhotoShop first before opening YSI. When you select to import your images, YSI will automatically open PhotoShop and start the process.
If this still has not worked, either refer to our Scripting File FAQ or check your settings within PS as recommended by YSI. In some cases, if PhotoShop was originally installed with some custom settings, this may effect the YSI / PS association and by opening PhotoShop prior to YSI could also work.
Multi-User Platforms: If you log onto your computer as a different user and your PhotoShop permissions have been set to not allow file sharing, this may also stop PhotoShop from opening.
External or Networked Hard Drives: If PhotoShop is loaded on an associated or network hard drive, ensure that your images are also loaded on this drive.
    Drive Partitions: As explained above
Multi-language users: If PhotoShop has been loaded within a Multi-language enviroment, ensure that both programs are install within the same location or permissions are set to share files between both envrioments.

Q: Why does it take so long to open a current job?
A: In some cases, it could take upto 10 - 15 minutes to open an existing job. This is usually determined by the amount of images you have imported into YSI and the Finished Layouts created. Check your memory usage and hard drive space. We recommend that you empty your Trash Bin and run a system check. Scanning your files or running a Disk Defragmenter will also incrfease your computer's performance.

Q: How do I print my High Rez. Finished Templates or send them to my Lab?
A: Once you have completed your Finished Layouts, you can choose to either open each layout directly into PhotoShop for further image correction or enhancement. Once completed,we recommend you save the layout as a PSD file to a nominated folder on your hard drive. Then Flatten the Layers and save as a Tiff or Jpeg ( depending on your personal output requirements or Photo lab recommendations ) and save to another folder. Copy this folder onto a CD or FTP to your lab. If you are using an in-house printer, just select the appropiate printing software settings or use the print option within PhotoShop. Alternatively, some labs offer a Density and Color correction service on PSD files. If so, just use the Batch facility within the Finished Layouts section to process all your templates as PSD files. Otehrwise, if your images are pre-corrected, use this same facility to process your templates and save as any file type ( eg: Jpeg, Tiff etc...).
You can also choose the Save output option for each individual template within the Workspace Window.

Q: YSI seems to be generating alot of Errors lately.
A: Depending on how many Finished templates you have created and the number of stored jobs saved, your computer may be experiencing a processing issue and your hard drive could be getting full. Delete any finished jobs and run a Scan Disk through your hard drive. We also advise that you should Defragmentate your hard drive at least once a month. This will ensure that your processor and hard drive are optimized for best performance and reduce program errors. However, all computers do perform differently and in most cases will not generate any errros. If you do expereince the occassional error, close YSI and re-boot your computer, as this will refresh the program. If you are continually experiencing these errors and none of the above has helped, please contact our support team at support@youselectit.com . To help us resolve your problem, supply as much accurate information on the type of error ( including screen grabs if possible ) and the steps taken to generate the error. In most cases, we can resolve any issue, but require this information to replica the error. Software updates always include bug fixes and we advise that you download the latest upgrade if you are running an older version.

Q: My Computer has just been infected by a Virus and need to Re-format my hard drive, how can I re-install YSI and all my additional template modules?
A: As a current user of YSI, you can download the program at anytime through the Client Login Page. Log onot our web site and open the Client Login Page. Enter your current Username and Password to gain access into your Software Summary Page. Once you have entered this area, you can obtain the program Un-Lock Code, download our latest version and any addtitional templates you recently acquired.
However, any Stored Jobs or custom templates saved into My Templates folder will be deleted when you re-format your drive. We highly recommend that you contact us prior to re-formating your drive at support@youselectit.com and we will forward you instructions on how to back-up these files.

YSI will not be responsible for any lost of data if the program is deleted prior to contacting our support team.

Q: How can I Backup my Stored Jobs or Templates in case my computer crashes?
A: We are currently working on a front end system that will allow you to easily perform this task at anytime and will be available in future upgrades. In the meantime, if you wish to obtain detailed instructions on how to back-up your Stored jobs and or any Custom templates saved within My Templates folders, please click here to download the Backup PDF help file: backupInstructions.pdf

Q: I'm on-line and trying to Un-Lock the software, but the program is notifying me that it cannot establish an internet connection and will not un-lock the program.
A: This problem is generally related to either a Browser issue or Firewall Permissions. Please check with your ISP provider regarding this issue or check that your Firewall permissions are adjusted to allow a connection to our server. If the problem continues, please contact our support team at support@youselectit.com.

Q: I'm running a Batch conversion and YSI has locked up and have lost all my stored jobs.
A: Your Hard Drive is too full and we recommend that you delete any unwanted programs or files. It is also advisable to run a Scan Disk and a Drive Defragmentation after you have deleted these files.
YSI requires a minium of 100mb to operate correctly and a warning will appear if it detects that your drive is below this requirement.
Please note: When you select to Batch all your finished layouts, PhotoShop will be actually processing all these large files and will be depending on available hard drive space to perform this operation correctly. If you are running low on hard drive space or your computer has limited processing speed, process only a small number of Finished Layouts at the same time. Once completed, repeat the process until you have finished all the layouts.

Q: I've just upgraded to PhotoShop CS and YSI is not working.
A: Download our latest version, as your current copy of YSI may not be compatiable with CS. If you have added the Special Series Templates to the program, you will also need to re-download and install the templates after you have upgraded YSI.
If you have the latest version of YSI and the program will still not work with CS, we recommend that you delete PS 7's scripting file through Add / Remove section within My Computer ( or applications folder / Adobe if you are using a Mac ), as the program will refer to this file and ignore the scripting file that is now built-in within CS.
Please remember to re-start your computer after you have removed this file.

    Q: Director Property Errors
A: In some cases you may occassionaly get a 'Property Director Error' message, whilst working with YSI. The program is built on a Macromedia platform and is a standard warning that an operating error has occured. Depending on the error type, you can press YES to allow the program to continue operating. However, if the message keeps re-appearing, please re-boot your computer and open YSI. All finished layouts saved before the error appeared will be retained within your Job Folder.

To help us track down and fix these errors, please contact us at support@youselectit.com with as much information on how the error was generated, including operating system and hardware specifications. In most case we should be able to replica the error and repair the code.

Q: I want to re-format my hard drive and re-install YSI. How do I back-up my Stored Jobs and My Templates?
A: If you un-install YSI or re-format your hard drive, you will lose all your stored jobs including any templates you have created and saved within My templates Folder. We are currently working on a front end system that will allow to easily save this information and will be avaiable in future updates. In the meantime, please contact us at support@youselectit.com and we will forward you instructions on how to do this directly within your hard drive.

YSI will not accept any responsibilty if any stored jobs or custom templates are lost prior to contacting our suppot team.

Q: Can YSI be effected by viruses or worms?
A: If you are experiencing software or computer inconsistencies such as:
    Computer operating slow.
Imported images not showing in Light Box.
    Finished Layouts have dissapeared.
Batch process stops and the program shuts down.
Or any other function that was operating correctly on a previous boot-up and has now stop working.
These issues are normally related to YSI's program's directory and a virus or worm may have changed the directory's preference to a read-only file. We suggest that you run a Virus scan or any other detection software to help you located the infected files and deleted them accordingly. Once you are satisfied that all these elements have been removed, please contact us at support@youselectit.com to obtain advise on how to change the YSI Directory back to it's original settings.

Q: I've just exported my Finished Layout into PhotoShop, how can I save these changes and bring them back into YSI?
A: Unfortunatley, this feature is not currently avaiable within YSI. Once you have exported a template into PhotoShop and apply changes, the file can be saved as any format that PhotoShop supports, but cannot be re-opened within YSI.

Q: I have both Photoshop 7 and CS on my system. Is there anyway I can specify which Photoshop version YSI will open, as I would prefer YSI to open Photoshop 7 when importing images instead of CS.
A: To locate which version of Photoshop YSI uses, hold down the L key when starting YSI and you will be prompted to locate the version of Photoshop you wish to use. Select either version of PhotoShop and re-start your computer. Please note that this feature is only available for YSI version 1.60 or later.

Q: I am on-line and trying to Un-Lock the program, but i keep getting an error message saying that I need to be on-line.
A: This may occassionaly happen if your Firewall or ISP Server is blocking our connection.
    Please follow these steps:
1: Enter your Un-Lock Code ( Copy and Paste ).
2: Hold down your Control Key.
3: Then follow this by holding down your B Key at he same time.
4: Now press the Un-Lock Button.

Please contact us at support@youselectit.com if this issue is still not resolved.

    Q:

    Macromedia Projector Error

A: YSI automatically saves your work every 60 seconds. However, if you are processing very large layouts or batching 20 to 30 templates as High-Rez. files, your computer may lock-up and there could be a possibility that you may lose your current job and any custom templates. We beleive that this could be related to hard drive storage or processor limitations, that will generate a Director Projector Error. Unfortunatley, if this error appears, you cannot restore this job and all custom templates will be lost. Therefore, we recommend that you reguarly backup all your current work (see link below), in case this error appears.
We are working on this issue and will have it resolved in our next update. Adding to this, we will be including a Back-up and Restore feature within the program, that will easily allow you to utilize this important function at anytime.  In the meantime, please ensure to download the following PDF instructions http://www.youselectit.com/content/backupInstructions.pdf

Q: Can YSI import Camera Raw Files?
A: If you are using PhotoShop CS, CS2 & CS3 and have the appropiate raw file plug-in, YSI will import Camera Raw Files. The Raw file conversion will only engage when you export a finished layout direclty into PhotoShop or Batch process all files as PSD's. Each image within a aperture will be prompt for conversion as the layout is built.

Q: How do I get YSI to open another verison of PhotoShop?
A: If you have different versions of PhotoShop loaded on your computer and would like to re-direct YSI to open another version, re-boot YSI whilst holding down your L key. When the option box appears, just select which version of PhotoShop you would like YSI to operate with.

Q: I can't open YSI..It keeps telling me that I need to insert a disc?
A: YSI will reconize that you've recently added a new memory stick or a portable hard drive to your computer. If so, please ensure to update current drivers or remove the item safely.

General Inquires

Q: Can I choose any Photographic Lab to print my finished templates?
A: Yes, You Select it is a totally independent program and has no rescrictions on which lab you use. Please contact your lab to obtain their DPI and Output requirements. No Photographic Lab has obtained exclusive rights to print any YSI templates.

Q: Can I choose any Album Supplier?
A: Yes, You Select It is a totally independent program which allows to choose any photographic lab or Album supplier of your choice. In some case, there are companies that work in conjuction with each other and offer a total printing and album mounting service. We personally recommend Albums Australia, who are one of the first album suppliers to offer Magazine style albums. They offer an outstanding product and wonderful service to clients all over the world. Adding to this, their album design software TDA 3 incorporates all YSI templates and has the ability to output all your images as High Rez. files. This powerful program has set the standard in album design software and will certainly increase your albums sales by using their software. TDA 3 - YSI integration

Q: When selecting YSI templates from within TDA 3, I cannot locate the templates that I created in YSI and saved in My Templates folder.
A: Ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of TDA 3. Earlier versions that have a build date prior to 29th. April 2004, do not suppot this feature.
Alternatively, you could delete the "press 11xy" file found in the [virtual tda3\program\settings] folder. Restart your computer and it will automatically update all the templates directly into TDA 3.
